The Shore

The Shore is now in my Reno top#5 experiences for restaurants. Here's why: Food =A+ Delicious and appealing Service = A+ Incredible teamwork Atmosphere = A+ Friendly smiles by all Miranda and Benjamin were very over the top friendly. The manager personally saw to it we were well accommodated. Yes, yes, yes, everything customer service wise was 100% on point. Very clean and modern look that was cozy and inviting. Great job to all!!!

This place is a standout brunch spot in Reno. The shakshuka was absolutely incredible—perfect balance of spicy and sweet. I’d come back just for that dish alone. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was rich and flavorful, and the biscuits and gravy didn’t disappoint. Coffee taste great and a solid menu across the board. Service was friendly and attentive, and the riverside setting adds to the experience.

Everything was amazing! The view, the good and the service. We had to change our reservation a few times due to our valet taking forever at our hotel and we didn't maybe it until 1:30 (they chose at 2pm) and they still accommodated us and never once did we feel rushed. Food came out quickly and was delicious. The hostess in the front was super sweet and kind.

I have never liked hotel bars or restaurants, but this week I have been amazed by the professionalism, kindness and patience that everyone had. Food was amazing and the hosts were great. My bartenders Sean, Fernando and Jake have changed my mind about restaurants within a hotel. Every single time I came downstairs, they treated me like I was part of their family. I will be staying at this hotel again and enjoy the restaurant and the bar. 5 stars all around. Alright I'm done. Updated again as I checked in again and is still a nice place.

On the last night of our trip, my wife, daughter and our two dogs had dinner at The Shore. We sat on the veranda and had a great meal. The sunset was beautiful over the Truckee River below where we sat. The service and food were excellent.

Lovely restaurant inside the beautiful renaissance downtown Reno Hotel. The decor is original and stunning. I loved the open spaces and varied eating areas. The food is delicious and affordable. Parking is accessible and valet service can be provided by such fine young men as Jacob hall and Luke Garner. The restaurant is designed fabulously with vibrant colors and shadows. They have a sleek bar area that compliments The Shores entrance!

The Shore in Reno is an absolute gem — a beautiful restaurant nestled right along the Truckee River inside the stylish Renaissance Hotel downtown. The setting is unbeatable: you can dine outdoors surrounded by the sights and sounds of the river, creating a calm, vibrant atmosphere that feels like eating right in the heart of nature. The menu is fresh, creative, and full of flavor, with options that balance modern flair and comfort classics. I ordered the eggs Benedict, and it was perfectly done — rich, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The drinks were equally impressive, crafted with care and offering just the right mix of creativity and quality. The staff were kind, attentive, and professional, making the experience even more enjoyable. Everything felt welcoming and relaxed, yet upscale at the same time. With reasonable prices, excellent service, and a view that can’t be beat, The Shore is a must-visit spot in Reno for brunch, drinks, or dinner by the river. They are dog friendly so if you have allergies or what not beware.
